Gosh dang it. I really dont know why I try to be friends with anyone anymore. No matter what I do... I'm always doing something wrong in someone's eyes. I'm really this close to just giving up on being friends with anyone...  I'll just wait until college to find real friends. Friends who will say hi to me and ask me to go do stuff with them and talk to me every once in a while.
I am so done with my "friends."
Why would they need me when they have everyone else? Exactly why I cant wait til college!
I'm so frustrated.

Happy Christmas!

Well hello!

The computer died so we had to bring it to the doctor so its taken me FOREVER to find a computer to be able to log on to.

Well today is Christmas! This is probably one of the best christmases ever.... I got lots of clothes and a collectors Wizard of Oz set.... and.... a LAPTOP! epic huh! I am so excited. I had no clue that thats what my parents were getting me! I knew i'd be getting one for graduation in the spring but I didnt think I'd get one NOW!  anyway. My laptop is a 14 inch HP G42 and its like a burgandy color. I am SO PLEASED!

I hope everyone is having a happy christmas and remembering that presents arent everything and we are celebrating the birth of like the most important person to be born and we owe EVERYTHING to him!

Hello Broken Pocketwatch Friends,
How's everyone doing? I'm doing pretty spiffily right now. There's been alot going on lately.

On Sunday, I got my Pachriartical Blessing and I have to say it was an AMAZING experience and makes me just want to jump for joy....

So...... Oh Yesterday! It amazes me that its only Tuesday today!
Tomorrow, A Cappella, Ovation and Encore went to Temple Square to sing at the Church Office Building and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was really neat. Especially at the JSMB. The accustics are MUCH better there than at the office building. I had to wear my dress to school... which I hate doing because it always seems to get in the way!

I must be one freaking HORRIBLE person.
My parents are constantly telling me that what I do or what I say is not good enough. Of course they don't say it in those words but they make those snide remarks like no wonder you don't have a boyfriend/friends... no wonder no one does anything for you. Just today my dad said "no wonder your mom never cooks for you." I don't know what he is talking about at all. I didn't complain about anything... actually dinner was really good.
Maybe they'll finally appreciate me after.... I go to college or I go away or something.
I'm so sick of all the negativity there is in my house. Its always who's fault is who's and lets blame this person and lets yell at everyone because they like to do their own thing. I have such a hard time being positive as it is without there being so much negativity floating around. I've tried to talk to my parents but all they ever do is laugh it off... After all I'm "just a child." I don't live very well with all this negativity all the time.
There always has to be so much yelling and its really killing my spirit.

well... I better go.
My dad just threw stuff so I should probably go hide somewhere.

A) Struggle through until things are working out again
or
B) Give up on them.

I'm having this problem with a couple people...

Do I give up on them because its probably better for me and my friend? or do I try to be there for them no matter what even if its really hard on me?

I'm really confused and I cant wait for this to stupid thing called high school to be OVER.

So my neighbor called and said she didnt sell any of my bows.... bummer. Well... At least I still have my mom's school to sell them at.

Its my oma and opa's last day here today... Lets just say i'm happy to get back to a normal schedule.

I've been filling out lots of scholarships and an application to Utah State. Its so boring it just makes me want to scream.

well... I dont have much to say without being negative or anything so bye for now.

Pigs, Rubber Duckies and Guitar Hero

So I finally went to be at 1 last night... this morning, whatever it was. And then I had a hard time sleeping. Wow not a good night and I woke up feeling like I took Niquil yesterday! Not fun.

I then brought all my bows over to my neighbor, Stephanie, and she is going to sell them at a craft show she is doing. I hope they sell well!!!

I'm thinking about making a quilt and I want it to be the Wizard of Oz... YAY! haha. I think I will make it for my final project in my sewing class.

After dinner today, we had Marzipan Cake. YUMMMMM! Its my favorite thing besides chocolate covered pretzels! My dad, Oma and Opa got it at the German resturaunt in SLC. It gives me a major sugar rush though!

my friend told me that they dont want to be friends because they are sick of hurting me and think it will be for the better... I told them i dont want them to go but they insist that i would get over it and i'd be better in the long run...

what am i suppose to do?
what did i do wrong? am i just not good enough to be friends anymore when they have all these other amazing friendships and i just dont add up because i've known them for so long?
i'm so confused....
I just want to be friends and partners in crime and have things not be complicated like this.

I dont want to lose another friend.... i've done that way too many times.

AHHHHH! Look at all the hair bows i've made! Arent they CUTE!!? I love them and I cant wait to sell them to all these people! This was 155 dollars worth of bows and since them i've made some more!

Update on My Accounting Teacher

So I have mentioned that my accounting teacher has cancer....
Well, we found out last friday that the tumors in her brain have spread to her spine and she has 6 to 10 weeks left to live. I hope she at least makes it to christmas. I've been praying really hard for her. I really wish she could have been in class more. She only taught us for maybe a month but I have to say that I really liked her. I liked how dedicated she was. She would go around the classroom and check on each one of us and MADE SURE we understood what we were working on. I wish more teachers would be like that.
I have to say that she is a teacher I will NEVER forget.

Winterness and Random stuff

Long time no see.... (I guess) readers of The Broken Pocketwatch,
I feel like i'm running around with my head cut off i've just been so busy.

Last week was the musical Grease at the high school and I went and saw it with my buddy Cameron. It was pretty good and the cast looked like they had a great time.

My Oma and Opa (my German grandparents) are coming from Indiana today. I'm not particularly thrilled because we cant watch tv and all we can really do is knit and talk about religion.... and not the one I belong too. PLUS we only eat like salad the entire time they're here. *hint hint does anyone wanna buy me dinner.*

THERE IS GONNA BE A BLIZZARD TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to take a MILLION pictures because I have NEVER been in a blizzard. Bring on that Hot Cocoa

HALLOWEEN!!!!

So, here I am sitting in accounting again! I get done with stuff WAY too fast in here, as you can probably tell because I keep posting from this class.

Halloween was this weekend!!! I wore my Hogwarts Costume and it was freaking amazing. I didnt go trick or treating this year... I'm 18 for heaven's sake. (although I probably would have gone if I had had someone to go with!) After Cameron got off work, I went and picked him up and we watched Pan's Labyrinth! Which is completely and totally AMAZING!!!!! I highly recommend it but get ready to watch subtitles because its in Spanish! (its set in Spain) Something that's really cool though is that its not like watching a movie with subtitles for some reason.... I dont know how to explain it.
I was going to watch The Rocky Horror Picture show but I thought it was too... um... "graphic" for Cameron. He told me he was a big boy and could handle it and well, for me, that's the problem....

Some Days Just Arent Yours

Well... Today has NOT been my day!!! First, I woke up late because my alarm decided it didnt want to go off!!!!! Then I went out to my car and it was covered in ice! I tried to use the ice melting spray stuff and that didnt even touch the stuff. So, I tried to find my scrapper thingy majig and that was no where to be found. I then got into my car and it had COMPLETELY fogged up... like the fog was spirling in the air and my air conditioner hasnt worked all summer so I had no way to speed up the de-fogging. At this point I was starting to feel antsy about getting to school and I told my sister to call our mom.... My sister did so. But did my mom help. Nope. She didnt even try to make us feel better. She just said "There's nothing I can do" I was like WHAT!!??? Mom's arent suppose to say stuff like that!!!!! So, since we didnt really have any choice, I drove myself and my sister to school with a windshield that I couldnt really see through. God must have been watching over us!!!

So now i'm in accounting and we just finished up our assignments. We still have a sub. But he's a good sub. He's gone and he's learned everything that we are learning just so he can teach us what we are suppose to be doing. He's a good guy in my opinion.

BIRTHDAY!!!!

Today is my 18th birthday.... I still dont know how I feel about this.
Yesterday went well. I got some shirts and I got some fabric to make my skirt for the HARRY POTTER PREMIRE!!! I have never been so excited for anything in my entire life! I tried to find a Ravenclaw shirt at Hot Topic and they DIDNT have one. I was way bummed.
Today honestly didnt feel any different than any other day!! But my mom did check me out of my 3rd period (which is government... with the worst teacher EVER) for lunch, so I was pretty happy about that. We went to this AWESOME place called Iceburg... Ya their mini shakes are like large shakes anywhere else; they were huge.
My friend brought me Mt. Dew for my birthday. I love that kid.

Yesterday

So, yesterday was interesting.
I woke up and my family and I ate breakfast with my uncle who came from Virginia. I had pumpkin bread. ^^ So I spent the day watching How to Train Your Dragon and I Dream of Jeannie. I didnt go to church because my mom went to take my uncle to some city- I dont know where and my dad went to his church and he took my car. Sad. I know.
Tomorrow is my birthday, so my grandma came over for dinner and we celebrated my birthday. My grandma gave me money and we are going shopping today after school. My parents got me a CAMERA!!!! I am SO excited!!!! I cant wait to post all the pictures I take!!!

Today has just begun... I'm actually sitting in my first period accounting class and playing on the computer because we just finished my test. We have a sub today and he's pretty nice. My teacher is having surgery because she has cancer. :(
Anyway... Shopping today. I hope that goes well.
